Love Song

Your words stick in my head like the sweetest melody.  These words that came to me as a vow almost whispered in the night  Are the lyrics to our steady sweet song.  The affection you have for me, the trust I have in you,  And this emotion that is nothing less than and nothing more than love  Makes up the ensemble that plays the music of this night.   
The harmonies and melodies play on and on  As we embrace each other with words of devotion.  Then, as I say, "Goodnight 'till morning comes,"  The music fades to a gentle whisper, and then nothing.

Left in RuinsWhile watching a perfectly good life be helplessy demolished,  You have to wonder...how did this come to be?   
Did it start with one wrong choice  That at one time seemed so right?   
Did it begin with a miscommunication;  Something blown way out of proportion?   
Did it start with a little something here and there  That eventually became more than anyone could handle?   
Whatever the case may be,  Because of this one thing,  Lives are left in ruins.

I've been doing some photography lately and a little bit of poetry. As far as the photos go, if my computer wasn't so freakin slow i'd have a lot more up, but the only poem i've written lately is Left in Ruins. if you haven't checked it out yet, you should! but, i'll try to get some photos up and find some inspiration for poetry! :blowkiss:
